Modesto

The Modesto Kaiser Permanente Behavioral Health Department is situated in North Modesto and has very close and easy Highway 99 access.  The clinic is close to numerous restaurants.

Modesto is largely an agricultural area and our clinic serves a diverse population of 90,000+ Kaiser Permanente Members.  We are equipped with language/interpreter support to provide services in many different languages as needed.  Our clinic adheres to strict Covid precautions and is thoroughly cleaned frequently.

We have a multidisciplinary clinical team with LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, Psychologists and Psychiatrists on staff.  Both Child and Adult Behavioral Health services are on site in our recently opened “State of the Art” clinic. Easy free parking in quiet setting.

Program Highlights

Our treatment team has managed the Covid challenge by developing and providing treatment virtually to individuals, classes, and groups.  Patients of particular concern or those requesting it are treated on site in our clinic.  As we progress, hopefully, out of Covid restrictions, we will seek a balance between in person services and virtual care to best meet the needs of our patients.

We seek Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellows with openness to a variety of learning experiences, professional presentation, willingness to incorporate feedback to grow clinical skills and who have practicum or job experience with behavioral health treatment.

A typical week for an Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellow is forty hours on site at our clinic at 4700 Enterprise Way in Modesto.   Fellows are expected to have at least one later start and finish day, (approximately 10am-7pm).

Twenty hours each week will be direct clinical contact including co-facilitating groups/classes and meeting with individual patients.  The rest will consist of individual supervision, group supervision, treatment team/case consultation meetings, didactic trainings and documenting all clinical contacts.

Clinical Service Opportunities

We will be filling four Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellowship positions on our Adult Treatment Team and two on our Child Treatment Team.
