South Sacramento
Sacramento Valley Consortium (Sacramento/Roseville and South Sacramento)
The Sacramento Valley Training Consortium is in Sacramento, California, the heart of California’s Central Valley and the state capitol. The city has experienced significant growth and development in the past years and is an easy day trip to San Francisco, Napa, or Lake Tahoe. Outdoor activities are popular, especially from April to November, when the weather is warm and dry. The winter affords skiing opportunities in the Sierra. Cost of living is moderate for California communities and much more affordable than the Bay Area. The city of Sacramento and its surrounding suburbs are frequently identified as a top city among multiple polls and as one of the most ethnically and racially diverse urban regions in the nation.
Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento cares for 56% of the residents in this area. The diversity of South Sacramento is reflected in our patient population: White= 30%; Hispanic= 24%; Asian= 29%; Black= 14%; Other= 3%
