Building
Your Future

South Sacramento

South Sacramento and Elk Grove clinics serve a diverse population.  We have four locations in the South Sacramento and Elk grove area that helps give our members options in deciding where they would like to receive their treatment.

Program Highlights

South Sacramento is an amazing team.  We are looking for talented clinicians who would like to grow clinically and gain hours towards licensure. Each clinician will have individual plus group supervision. Additionally, therapist will have opportunities to see members individually, and in groups.

In this program you will see members individually and in group as an outpatient therapist. Interns will have opportunities to shadow intakes and groups in their internship to learn different modalities, psycho-education, plus coping skills that can be used in therapy.  Weekly and monthly training will be offered both from our region mental health training program and our clinicians.

Additionally, Pre-Master interns have shadowed a DBT, CBT, and how to use mobile apps in treatment in past internships.  Telehealth training will also be offered for both video and telephone appointments.  Training will be focused on differential diagnoses, clinical documentation, and risk assessments.

Pre-Master’s Interns will have opportunities to shadow intakes and groups in their internship to learn different modalities, psycho-education, plus coping skills that can be used in therapy.  Weekly and monthly training will be offered both from our region mental health training program and our clinicians.

Additionally, Pre-Master interns have shadowed a trauma focus, process, parenting, and support group for families, parents, and teenagers in past internships.  Telehealth training will also be offered for both video and telephone appointments.
