Are you wary of the role of technology in mental health? Excited about technology’s potential, but not sure where to start? This introductory workshop is for you. The presenter reviews types of digital mental health interventions, explores how these interventions mitigate barriers to service, evaluates data on their utility, examines the rapidly growing developments in cultural adaptation, and explains basic concepts related to artificial intelligence. Although the presenter has conducted research on digital technologies for anxiety for 20+ years, she does not consider herself “a technology person.”
