Solution Focus Approach-Elliott Connie, MA, LPC
The Solution Focused Approach has been around for more than 40 years and in that time this way of working has demonstrated effectiveness in many different areas. The key to this way of working is to be able to focus on what the client desires for change instead of just their problem, and doing clinical work this way is simple. However, simple does not mean easy and for many professionals using this approach is a challenge. In this lecture the presenter will demonstrate exactly how to use the Solution Focused Approach with any client, regardless of the problem that brought them into therapy. The presenter will be using lecture, video demonstrations, and perhaps even live demonstrations to during this event.
