Introduction to Tridiuum

Presenter Bio

Matthew Holland, PsyD (Vallejo, Behavioral Health Manager of Adult Services) received his B.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley in 2002 and his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in 2016. Dr. Holland completed his doctoral internship at the Integrated Health Psychology Training Program in Contra Costa County and was a postdoctoral resident at Kaiser Permanente San Rafael’s Psychiatry Department. Dr. Holland joined the Vallejo Psychiatry Department in 2017 and, soon thereafter, served as the clinic’s Adult Team representative on the Achieving Clinical Excellence committee for the Northern California region of Kaiser Permanente. In this clinic liaison role, he facilitated a case consultation group for Adult Team clinicians to support the framework of Feedback Informed Care. In 2018, he had the pleasure of being a contributor on the Tridiuum Mental Health Advisory Council, a regional committee tasked with developing the implementation and clinic workflows of digital feedback tools designed to support clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. Currently, Dr. Holland provides support and coordination for the maintenance of virtual programs for Napa Solano’s Psychiatry Department and Behavioral Health Education. Dr. Holland is actively involved in the training program as an Assessment Supervisor for both postdoctoral residents and practicum externs; past roles in the training program have included provision of individual, clinical supervision. He has also served on the Behavioral Medicine Faculty for the Family Medical Residency program for the 2020-2021 training year.

This course is designed to introduce feedback software tools and Kaiser Permanente’s own Tridiuum platform for monitoring treatment progress. The information provided in this course will familiarize clinicians with Tridiuum and Kaiser Permanente’s outcomes measures. The course will also provide a detailed tour through the various features and functions of the Tridiuum platform. This course can be taken as a standalone training or serve as the first part of a two-part series on using Tridiuum at Kaiser Permanente.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Better understand the relationship between feedback software tools and improved treatment outcomes
  2. Describe the benefits of patients completing Tridiuum for mental health and addiction medicine appointments at Kaiser Permanente
  3. Navigate the Tridiuum software platform and interpret data generated by the assessments administered to patients

The Kaiser Permanente Northern California Mental Health Training Program maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Refund and Attendance Policy

All programs offered on KP Learn for CE credit through the KP Northern California Mental Health Training website are free of charge to Kaiser Permanente Staff and trainees. Once a course is selected in the KP NCAL MH Training Website, the registration process begins, and it will appear in the individuals KP Learn profile for completion within 90 days.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Those who attend the program in full and complete the appropriate evaluation form will receive CE credits. Please note that credit will only be granted to those who attend the entire program. An attestation of attendance will be given once the individual has completed viewing the program, which will then initiate the final steps of completing the evaluation forms to receive a certificate of completion.
