Elevating Excellence: The Role of the Clinical Supervisors

At the heart of the Mental Health Training Collaborative (MHTC) is a team of highly skilled Clinical Supervisors whose dedication and expertise are essential to the success of both our trainees and the program as a whole.  The MHTC Clinical Supervisors comprise a collaborative team drawn from MHTP, RAP, and KPCC. Together, we form a dynamic and cohesive group committed to advancing excellence in mental health training. These supervisors are more than mentors—they are leaders, educators, and role models who shape the future of mental health care.

With years of clinical experience, our MHTC Clinical Supervisors bring a depth of knowledge that enriches every aspect of the training experience. Their guidance helps trainees navigate complex clinical scenarios, develop strong therapeutic skills, and build the confidence needed to serve diverse communities with compassion and competence.

What sets our supervisors apart is their ongoing commitment to professional growth. Many have obtained numerous advanced certifications, demonstrating a passion for lifelong learning and a drive to remain at the forefront of the field. This dedication ensures that the training provided is not only current but also aligned with the highest standards of clinical excellence.

By continually expanding their knowledge and refining their practice, MHTC Clinical Supervisors are pushing the envelope of what’s possible in clinical training. Their leadership ensures that our program remains innovative, inclusive, and deeply impactful—preparing the next generation of mental health clinicians to lead with integrity, cultural humility, and clinical excellence.
