Maryam R. Hafezi, Psy.D. is the Senior Manager of the Northern California Regional Associate Program (RAP) within Kaiser Permanente’s Regional Mental Health Training Collaborative, where she leads program strategy, supervision quality, and interdisciplinary workforce development. Her leadership comes full circle after completing her Clinical Psychology residency with the East Bay Consortium in 2010, followed by progressive roles in clinical care, training, triage, and service‑line leadership that shaped how teams learn and deliver care.
Dr. Hafezi’s commitment to community and mentorship began early—founding a teen girls counseling group in high school—and has evolved into a career centered on teaching, supervision, and program design. A Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist, she brings expertise in integrated care, neuropsychology, bariatrics, psycho‑oncology, and women’s health, combining evidence‑based practice with a systems lens to support both clinicians and patients.
Through RAP, Dr. Hafezi is dedicated to “passing it forward”—building a training culture where emerging clinicians are seen, supported, and empowered to grow into confident, ethical professionals. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, travel, hiking, swimming, and painting, grounding her leadership in curiosity, balance, and purpose.
