Angela (she/her) received her B.S. with an emphasis in Human Resource Management in 2016 from the University of Phoenix and her M.B.A. from the same university in 2018.
Angela has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and over 15 years of administrative and project management experience in healthcare. Her career began as a Unit Clerk on the med-surge trauma unit at a level-one trauma center, indicating a foundation in frontline healthcare operations. Progressing from there, she advanced to the role of Administrative Assistant II, gaining valuable experience in hospital administration.
Angela joined Kaiser Permanente in September 2016 as a Regional HR Compliance Coordinator. Her role involved ensuring that human resources practices comply with relevant regulations and policies within the healthcare industry. Demonstrating career growth, she currently holds the position of Project Manager II within the NCAL Mental Health Training Program. Her responsibilities in this role include recruitment, outreach, and supporting Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity initiatives, which highlights her commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. Angela’s dedication to mental health is evident in her current role, reflecting a personal and professional alignment with the goals of the Mental Health Training Program.
In her free time, Angela enjoys spending quality time with her family, going to the movies, walking, and traveling.
